3 Dimensional Print are an environmentally aware organisation and we have taken a responsible attitude regarding material usage and disposal over many years. 3 Dimensional Print have identified the environmental impacts of our business and those of our supply chains in order to improve on these impacts with the aim of creating a more sustainable company. We will continue to take the necessary steps to minimize the impact of our activities on the environment by implementing the following:
- Comply with all environmental legislation applicable to our business.
- Minimise the use of natural resources, such as energy and water, wherever possible.
- Reduce the creation of wastes by adopting improved operating practices and by the recycling of all materials whenever practical.
- Be committed to a renewable energy contract, to reduce the carbon footprint of our business.
- Encourage our clients to use post-consumer recycled and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified papers. Where a non-FSC virgin fibre paper is required, we will specify a chlorine free paper with a low environmental impact and from a sustainable plantation.
- Ensure that existing and potential clients are aware of our environmental aims by actively promoting these on our website and when tendering for printing jobs.
- Work towards achieving the Green Mark Certification - Level 1.
